The Puget Sound Map

Well this one has been on my to do list for ages.  It wasn't until we procured our Vandercook 219 press, which can make prints up to 18 x 24 inches, that I began to really feel motivated to get it done.  It just felt like it needed to be in a larger format with all the interesting inlets and bays.

We as a family have only begun to explore Puget Sound, mainly around the Olympic Peninsula (Hood Canal and the Sequim/Port Angeles area).  There really is so much to it with all the islands and beaches.   The Pacific Northwest is a paradise for outdoorsy folk.  I have been in the region for 10 years now and I feel like I have just scratched the surface as far as visiting beautiful natural places goes!

So take a gander at this new piece.  I just loved the way it turned out.
