In the hills of the vast metropolis of Los Angeles there sits Griffith Park. At over 4000 acres this municipal park that offers respite (for both people and animals) from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's named after its former owner, Colonel Griffith, who gave his ranch as a Christmas gift to the people of Los Angeles in 1896. Well, thanks bud!
Hand drawn and highlighting the flora and fauna in the park as well as the famous man made landmarks such as the famed Griffith Observatory this map pays homage to one of the first places I was exposed to the great outdoors.
Printed on our letterpress in archival black ink on 100% cotton paper.
Sold unframed but this 14 x 18 inch print will fit perfectly into a standard frame.
